EGIS's newest application, UArrive, is now available

Created and developed through a collaborative partnership between the Enterprise GIS (EGIS) team and Parking and Transportation Services, this dynamic interactive map puts the heart of wildcat country at your fingertips. UArrive is a web-based application optimized for mobile use, allowing users (both experienced Wildcats and new visitors alike) to find parking, bicycle, and transit options on and around the University of Arizona campus.

The app uses GIS features curated by EGIS with guidance from PTS to properly inform campus users about the various parking and transportation options around campus. The data used in UArrive is also tied to an internal application created for PTS staff, which allows the data to be updated on a regular basis.

When users interact with UArrive they can view the locations and rates of visitor parking, stop times for CatTran routes, locate the closest bike parking to a particular building, and more. Features can be located by panning and zooming around the map and turning on layers of interest, or the search tool can be utilized to locate a specific building or parking and transportation feature. Users also have the ability to create share links based on the current extent, zoom level, and other parameters to facilitate distributing a customized version of the map to others.

We hope you will explore and utilize UArrive whenever you have parking or transportation needs around campus!
