Space Management supports the evaluation and allocation of University space while planning for long term space needs and serves as the central repository for information regarding UA's institutional space. We are a primary resource for space-related-decision making that positively impacts UA's instruction, research and public service missions. 

Space Management accomplishes this through a broad range of activities, such as:

  • Maintaining the Physical Space Inventory, a comprehensive computerized space database and information system
  • Providing reports and data to the University community and the Arizona Board Of Regents (ABOR)
  • Working in conjunction with constituents to conduct space analyses providing leadership with a true reflection of space utilization
  • Maintaining floor plans for all University space
  • Advising on space policy, procedures, and federal, state, and University guidelines
  • Collaborating with University Analytics & Institutional Research to develop tools available to the University community through UAccess Analytics
